Open Utilities and double– click on MIDI Setup.

Navigate to Applications (Go > Applications).

You should now have audio coming out of your TV from your MacBook.

If you still cannot hear sound from your TV, log out of your account on your MacBook Pro, and then log back in.

Make sure sound output is selected, and you can see the speaker icon next to HDMI in the list of devices.
